Pioneer III

Sorry for the delay. Had 2 of Capt. Andy's ales. Wow !!!!!!What a day. The weather and the fish both co-operated. Lots of ship traffic in the morning but things calmed down towards the afternoon. Jumped all over today looking for tide. He found it. Total of 17 to 6 lbs. It's a pleasure to catch quality fish apposed to a lot of shorts. Lots of 19"ers that felt like 5 lbers coming up. Kept Dan busy today, thanks Dan. Hot rod went to Roger with 5 to 5 1/2 lbs. The big bucks went to Evz with the lber. I can see a mall in her future. No Hardy people today. Even Rebecca got one. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. We will be doing it all again next Sunday if not sooner. If you have a couple of people that want to go, call the Capt., he may have someone that may want to go. Well today we had St. Peter G and little Frankie, John (the roaster) and his son Ryan, Jerry (AAA), Evz and Mr. October. Lots of ship traffic today. Fished the deep most of the day and had quality fish to 6 lbs. Mr. October had 3 and the big bucks, Evz with 2, St. Pete had 1 and Ryan had the other one. Total of 7.  Made a couple of drifts at the porch and it turned out to be drop and reel but they were all shorts. So guess where we will be tomorrow ? In the deep.

Pioneer III

Had Mark Singleton and his Uncle Bobby from Minnesota, Mike Lombardi, Mr October, Evz and the Capt. on board. 1st stop (nadah, nilch, nothing). 2nd stop had lots of action and a couple of heart-breakers = 19"ers. Next  we went to the can (tin can grounds that is) and started to box a few fish. Uncle Bobby tried very hard but managed a couple of shorts, a skate and a couple of sea robbins. Mark S. and Michael L.  had  keepers for the day. Mr. October had 3 and the big money winner. The Capt decided to drift a couple of spots he had and up came some good size porgies and seabass. Back to fluking on the way home as the Capt. wanted Mr. October to limit. He tried but will have to try again Sunday. Plenty of action so book your trip. Call 201-650-9768 to get the Capt's hot line.

Pioneer III

Got an early start and the Capt put the first keep in the box at 7:04 off to a fantastic day right ? Wrong. Had lots of action and covered a lot of area. Stayed away from the blues that were in the same place they were for past 3 weeks. Also boxing fish was Rogee with 2, Big Tom with 2 and Dan the mate with 1. Googans of the day were Mr. October, the chic from NYC, the big guy from Bayonne, NJ and Evz.  Had a surprise birthday cake for the first mate Evz from the Sunday crew and Jimmy too. Happy Birthday Evz and many more. Doing it all again next week.

Pionee III

Tried to to get out early but had to wait for the minute man Randy who arrived at 6:59:45. Had a little chat with him. Out the canal we went, with about 1 hour left with tide we tried for bass. Rogee hooked up first with a short bass and also a mixture of blues. Mr. October boxed a behemoth of a blue and the games began with Big Tom, Evz, Felix, the minute man and Capt. Fred (tug boat) all contributed. A total of six short bass was released. Loosing tide and off to the fluke grounds. To fast at the porch and nothing at the birdcage we headed to the east off Coney Island and we started to catch. Mostly shorts but Rogee got 2 keepers, Evz got 1 and the big bucks went to Big Tom Anderson. To top off the day, non other than the minute was caught eating a banana on board but was quickly discarded. Will be doing it again next Sunday.

Call and book your trip.
