Pioneer III

What a day to be on the water. Started off looking for bass and we found some within the first half hour. The high hook in that department was Mr. October with 3 to 23lbs. followed by Evz, Cathy(with a C) Milillo and Roger each putting one in the box. Losing the tide off we went in search of the flukes. Went to a few spots and high hook in that department Mike (with an M) Milillo with 2 followed by the big money winner Rogee with a 5lber. And yes we will be doing it all again all summer long.

Pioneer III

Today we had drizzle all day long but it didn't stop the Sunday crew. Big Tom and Kathy dirtied the cooler with each contributing a striper and Big Tom taking the big bucks. Lost the tide and off to the fluke grounds we went. Good action for the rest of the day and putting 6 keepers in the box. Kathy had the biggest one that went 31/2lbs. Doing it all again next week. See ya !

Pioneer III

Today we had Mike and Kathy Melillo from Berkley Heights, NJ, Mr. October, Rogee, Big Tom and Felix Class from Bayoone, NJ. Slow start but Rogee managed to put the first one in the box which turned out to be the biggest one of the year so far. Weighed in at an even 34lbs. and also took the big bucks. High hook went to Mike Melillo with 4. Rogee and Felix also added another to the cooler. Mr. October, Big Tom and Kathy were the only Hardy Boys and Lady for the day. And yes we will be doing it all again next Sunday.

Pioneer III

On board today was: Mark Singleton of Singleton/Galmann Real Estate located in Hoboken, NJ, Mr. October, Victor Alvarez of Hoboken, Andy Gaspar and George Gaspar Sr. and Jr.
First stop Mark and the hot rod with 3 keepers to 23.8lbs. and the winner of the big bucks. Coming in 2nd with also 3 keepers was Mr. October followed by George Jr, Andy and Victor who each added 1 to the cooler. Seems the only Hardy Boy was George Sr. Lost the tide and off to the next spot which did not produce any keepers just a couple of shorts. Going to do it all again Sunday. See yeah.

Pioneer III

Left the dock early because everyone was anxious to go fishing. Rebecca was the first to dirty the cooler. Then Roger and Joe N both added to the catch. Big Tom, Mr. October and Anthony( The Barker) Rullo added a couple of cocktail blues and then we switched to fluking. Had good action but no keepers. The wind constantly pounded us, so the Captain decided to make a stop at Bay Ridge on the way home and nothing happened. That's all she wrote and we headed for the dock. The big bucks went to Joe N but it was a close. And yes, we are going to do it all again next Sunday if not sooner.
