All the Capt. kept hearing was the fishing is very good up the Reich. So guess what ? Off we went. Everyone was there early and we left the dock at 6:25 and arrived at 7:15. Had tide all the way. A couple of shorts came up and we looked to the west and saw an early ship heading our way. The way is goes is that when a ship passes it destroys the fishing and that is exactly what happened. Before the ship got to us the Legend boxed a 7 1/4 lber. and that held up for the big buck for the day. And sure enough the fishing died and we headed back to our normal spots that produced some quality fish. High hooks were the Legend, Roger and Cathy M with 3 each followed by Michael M with 2 and Big Tom and Jigging Jack had 1 apiece. Glad the Capt. got that out of his system. Will be back next week.
Special thanks to Evz for always being there with the net and yes there were many net violations by all.
